 MyVits goes to Washington DC!

Dr. Springer greeted by DEA Director Asa Hutchinson.

Dr. Springer routinely volunteers his time with the Second Chance Program
(http://www.penalrehab.org/)  working with inmates in the Mexico prisons to help get and keep them off drugs (with a 95% success rate!).

Dr. Springer traveled to Washington D.C. last week to help lead the Nationwide Anti-Drug Campaign to educate others on the danger of Club Drugs

(click for more info).

Club Drugs:
Just the Facts

What are club drugs?

Although tobacco and alcohol are the most common substances found on the club scene, other substances such as Ecstasy, Herbal Ecstasy, Rohypnol, GHB, Ketamine, and LSD have gained popularity with young people in recent years. Typically, night clubs, bars, parties, and raves attract teenagers, college students, and young adults who may risk their health in the interest of a good time. Raves are a form of dance and recreation that is held in a clandestine location with fast-paced high-volume music, a variety of high-tech entertainment, and often, the use of drugs.

These club drugs are attractive to youth for their cheap, intoxicating highs, which they mistakenly believe are safe. Unfortunately, most partygoers do not realize the dangers of using club drugs. Once more, combinations of any of these drugs with alcohol can lead to unexpected adverse reactions and death.

The Nutritional Training Diet:

__________________________

This is a recommended method of eating foods to induce you to "automatically" improve your diet, Unlike the dull restricted, menu-type diet, the "training diet" can be interesting. It encourages a greater, rather than lesser, variety of foods.

Since this diet consists primarily of vegetables, meat, fish, poultry and fruit, it is high in minerals. Because it encourages use of fermented foods, it is high in lactic acid, which in turn favorably influences intestinal environment. It is rich in calcium, sometimes called Mother Nature’s “lullaby mineral”. It is high in natural vitamins. Since it eliminates a high proportion of so- called “empty-calorie” foods, it should have an excellent weight normalization influence.

The “training diet” must be UNDERSTOOD, not just blindly “followed”. You must lead your own way. In this regard, please read the following information carefully. If you understand why you are asked to follow certain rules, it will be much easier to gain your cooperation. It merely takes plain, common sense.
